Communication Sciences And Disoders, Longwood University I went to Longwood for 2 semesters of my undergrad. I'm also taking my pre-reqs through their online program right now. I have several years of experience as well as great LORs. Not sure if I'll be accepting as I am wait listed at 3 other schools and have been accepted to another as well.

(EE) Electrical Engineering, New York University Had a casual Skype interview with a PhD candidate in the program. My research interests are strongly matched to NYU and my best recommender knows a faculty member in the department, but my GPA isn't great so I'm not too surprised.

Data Science, University of Virginia 2-year experience creating data science and machine learning programs for an Indian online education startup. 1 international paper in machine learning. Ranked #33 on Kaggle - the most popular competitive data science platform. Have done 8-10 ML projects in college for international clients through freelancing portal - Upwork.

Electrical And Computer Engineering, ML And DATASCIENCE, University of Southern California Got email to check the notif on youSC portal and saw the admit. Don't know if I'll take it up though. Didn't even submit LoRs. Quite surprised.

Biosystems Engineering, University Of Arizona - Tucson Undergraduate at top 10 university but OK gpa and GRE scores near expiring. I applied as a Master’s student but also threw in for PhD, they told me I am happy to see where it goes at end of Master’s, PhD was a VERY long shot in the dark right out of UG. No published papers. Worked for 5.5 years in finance and business between UG and this. Excited as this was my top choice!

MHS Health Behavior And Society, Johns Hopkins University Emory undergrad, 3.784 GPA, research experience every summer since freshman year and one summer in this specific department, mentor and I from this department published our work, but was not accepted until after I submitted application
