Any idea when Mechanical MS results will be declared?

To the poster below asking about WICHE: I emailed the advisor, Michelle Wilson, who said: We try to work with all students eligible. I’m assuming you are a resident of California? If so, the WRGP should apply to you. The good news is that all USU students eligible for the WRGP have been able to receive it. We have many from the department each year who take advantage of this great opportunity. There is a simple form we fill out with the graduate school, but it isn’t available until July when the new fiscal year begins. Then once the form is processed, the waiver is applied to your student account so that only the resident portion of tuition will show.

Is anyone declining their offers of Rutgers with funding?

I am so glad I'm not the only one in this situation. I guess there is still hope of getting in. I hope we get notified soon - I agree, the wait is pretty annoying.

I was looking forward to this school. I have a publication with three citations. Has experience working as TA. Still got rejected.

E-mailed rejection but admissions portal isn't updated. Stated all admission decisions have been made.

POI contacted me to tell me that the funding had been reduced for the project, so she couldn't accept me for the incoming year. She ended her email by saying that she she enjoyed talking with me, that I'll do great in graduate school, and she hopes I've been accepted to the other places that I've applied to. I have no hard feelings about this because I was accepted to my number one in February.

@March 10 poster, only 7 people were accepted. I would highly suggest emailing me them and asking for a detailed explanation. Also @ other people saying Berkely is bad: can you tell us why from your own personal experience and not from the dozens of various students involved in the program? Funding, personal lives, motivation and etc all go into your OWN experience and view of the department. Berkeley might be a terrible or amazing experience, but you won't know because you will never experience it. You're judging it based on hearsay just as they newly admitted students are :).
