Business (finance), Duke University Worst experience among the ~20 programs I applied. There is no contact email available from finance department. I have dropped around 5 emails to know phd business. They have even confirme that if I have not received an interview call, the chances of me getting admitted us rare, which most of the other universities did. Finally, I accepted other program without knowing the result of application. At least, one expects some response to his application if he has paid money for that. Its horrible.

Finance, Vienna Graduate School Of Finance (VGSF) To the post below. Yes you are right, but too naive. They will send the acceptance in four weeks. Here is their procedure: first send interview to potential candidates and wait lists, then make decisions to these candidates and send offer letter, finally send rejections to others. What they told u is that the last rejections will be sent in four week, but we are not even among the interview list (Feb 11), which is already equal to rejection.

Finance, Georgia State University To the post below: Congratulation! I'm glad to hear the offer is given to the right man! I guess you were accepted right after my turndown. Even if I've chosen another school for my research fit, I am pretty sure GSU has very decent program, especially for research in corporate finance and investments. All the best in your new career!

Finance, Rochester University I also got the offer from Simon and agree with the discussions below. We all agree that the attrition rate in Simon for the past PhD is about 50% or more and the professors in Simon seem to care less about students than those of other schools. We are not sure about the internal channels due to the lack of information.
