So, if you have been interviewed and wait-listed, it means you have a much higher chance of being admitted and I have almost no chance.

Finance, Swiss Finance Institute-Leman Campus, UNIL Applied in the second round. Emailed to ask the application status and the professor replied very quickly saying that "will not be extending an offer". Sounds like they have had admitted enough students in the first round. Super Sad.

Finance, Boston University Got an offer from Mathematical Finance PhD program with full funding offer ($33k for 5 years). Didn't have an interview, so this was quite unexpected. I actually have numerous better offers, so will likely decline. I still thank BU for giving their offer! They have many promising junior faculties to work with.

Finance, Purdue University-Main Campus To the poster about Purdue Finance, I am waitlisted (no interview, found out after sending email to Purdue around a month ago). They aim to have 2 students this year and 2 offers have been sent out. Only if one declines, they will interview the waitlistee in order.
