However, due to the large number of highly competitive applicants this year, our selection process has not been complete, and therefore we have placed you on the waitlist."

Survey Methodology, University of Maryland Admitted to MS instead, initial notification via email to set up phone call with director. Asked about funding and received offer for assistantship several weeks later, tuition + stipend. Go Terps.

Human Services Psychology (Clinical), University of Maryland, Baltimore County Generic rejection e-mail received post-interview. Saying that I am extremely disheartened would be an understatement, as this program became my #1 choice over the course of interview season for a host of reasons. C'est la vie- best wishes to those who will be matriculating.
