Email said that application status has been updated. International student. Will likely reject.

1st acceptance. Will wait for my other results before deciding. GPA is from M.A. Econ at a US top 10 school. 1 year part-time RA during Masters; Acceptance: Georgetown; Waitlisted: UC Irvine, ZGSE; Rejections: U Chicago, Stanford, Berkeley ARE, LSE;

Very excited. Got an email from POI, comparative gov

TTPB: I received an email and logged onto the gradapply. There was a letter there informing me that I had been waitlisted (linguistics track).

I received an email telling me that there was an update to my application. I then logged onto the application portal where a letter was posted from the Dean of Graduate Admissions informing me that I had been waitlisted.

Received email from POI. He said they only took 2 out of the 76 who applied for the U.S. field. (GPA is MA.)

Follow up to question: I received an email that there was a change to the status of my application. Directed me to log in to application website. That contained a letter from the Dean.
