Graduate School Admission Results

15k scholarship each year. applied Feb 15th.

GPA is grad between two masters. RPCV and Fulbright scholar + work experience. Published. Competitive year!

I was surprised that I was considered because it is highly competitive. 2.9 Cum GPA, Currently 3.4 Post Bacc GPA, Low GRE scores, 5 years of experience in the field.

I didn't get an interview so already that was a sign. The supervisor I chose has experience in doing research in my country and I was keen on learning more from her. A bit disappointing because I poured my heart into the application. Understandable though considering that I don't have much research experience and I probably should have asked to be considered for a masters degree. They also mentioned that they'll be accepting 1-4 students earlier on. Congratulations to those that did get in. Hope you make the most of it.

Happy about this acceptance! I did undergrad in Sustainable Food and Farming at UMass, ended with a 3.55 GPA, and spent the last two years farming vegetables. Unsure if I will accept or not, but wanted to provide this info for a future applicant who anxiously looks for other food studies people like I did ;)

OH MY GOD DREAM SCHOOL!!!! State school for UG, some research experience, two years of professional experience, one year and 3 summers living/working abroad. Pinch me.

Portal updated 3/2, with funding info. No funding/scholarships received

B.A. in Public Health, 3 years of experience in national healthcare policy, and no GRE

Got an email to check the portal. Funding will be announced within 48 h. 2 undergrad degrees from 2 different universities in business and politics. 4 years of experience in both public (think tank) and private sector. 2 years experience working and studying internationally. Got a scholarship from my government before applying. Super excited about the result.
