To those accepted by MIT, do any of you work in HCI?

posted on website:Our admissions committee has extended interview invitations to everyone whom we anticipate interviewing, and we have now received confirmation of receipt from all of them. We will most likely admit from this pool of applicants, but are not sending out final admissions decisions to the rest of the applicants in case the committee decides to extend interview invitations to a few more applicants. We expect to email final notifications to those who were not interviewed by March 9.

Undergrad at MIT. Stings... 5.0 GPA, 990 PGRE, 170Q 169V 4.5W, 2 years of research.

Wasn't a great fit, not surprised. Grad gpa 3.75. 1a/3w/5r

MIT EECS rarely requests an interview. When they do, it's usually to see the personality of the candidate. Most students are admitted without an interview, so don't worry if you didn't got one.

To those who asked me about the wait list - my background is in architecture, applying to CDD. 4-5 years of professional experience in urban design consultancy. Anyone else got into wait list or heard of the chances of getting admitted from a wait list? Also accepted in U Penn, rejected from GSD.

I haven't heard back and yes, I received this email. Btw, how many of us haven't heard back?
