Finance, University Of Maryland College Park, Cornel, Penn State TPB: I have not yet heard from Maryland. They did not start their process early enough, and I think it is about time for them to finish interviews and the first round of offer to be extended but I have not seen anyone saying "Interview" so may not have interviews yet even. For Cornel, they have made some offers, but students are taking time to response since some top schools have just made their offers recently. For Penn State, you can email the PhD coordinator. He is a great guy. If you think you may have a chance and live in the U.S., you may want to fly out this coming week and visti the campus and talk with the coordinator. He will tell you that he is still waiting to hear from the ones he made offers, but I think it is worth checking and putting efforts in.

Business (Finance), Northwestern University Actually if you look at the statistics, around 14-16 get admitted but only around 5 accept the offer and enrol. So I'm guessing they will admit a considerable number of interviewees depending on how many they interviewed.

Business Administration - Finance, University of Massachusetts Boston It is really extremely annoying that these universities do not give any update to those who are not considered for admission. We have paid the application fee and universities like UMass Boston for sure receive fewer applicants and it is easier for them to communicate with all of them. The college of management does not even reply back the emails. In the last month I was checking my application status 20 times per day and emailed the phd administrator twice but he did not reply back any of them. Now, I should read here that university has made the offers in mid Match! I am shocked. Really embarrassing!!!
