Got an email telling me to check my application decision. Logged onto the application website, it stated that I am accepted. :)

Oops, switched my GRE scores on the previous post (my Verbal score was the high one)

"This year CMD received 17 applications but we could only admit 4 students. All applications were thoroughly reviewed and the selection process was very competitive." Background: Double master degrees: Electrical engineering master from a US university, Computer Science Master from a Canadian university. Several publications in interdisciplinary research (Interactive Computer Music). I do not recommend this program, because you have to find two co-supervisors from two different departments. After interviews with several potential supervisors I got a oral promise from one who serves in music department. However, it is hard to find a good supervisor from computer science department since they said the department does not have sufficient funding. Finally, got this rejection. Congrats to those four lucky applicants.

GPA is grad

Received an email telling me that I am currently on their wait list. Ranking-wise this is my safe school, but I do understand that the their faculty expertise (audience-side) could hardly provide me with the most idealistic kinda support (journalist-related). Very much respect this decision and gonna decline this wl very soon. Good luck to all admitted fellows.

Accepted this afternoon! No word of funding yet. Not certain if I will accept, as I was already accepted into my first choice with significant scholarship - however, I have free housing in NY which may sway me.

Very disappointed :/

Short interview next week

GPA is MA. Received e-mail telling me to check the portal.

Had a Skype interview with the whole admissions committee today. The interview did not go well. Good luck to those who will get in.

Applied to the PhD program; got a call last week that there were too many qualified candidates who already had MAs (I only have my BA), but that the faculty wanted to offer me a place in the MA cohort. Today, received an official letter and a preliminary offer of 4 renewable semesters of TA-ship that covers all tuition and provides a $5,500 stipend each semester. I ain't mad!

No interview. Feeling bad but best of luck for those who are still waiting. Will try next time.

As expected. But any international applicant thought locals got higher chance of acceptance?
