has anyone heard from affective computing?

I applied to the Mediated Matter Group. It seems like all the decisions will be out on 1st of march, but has anyone heard from them, are interviews happening?

I feel it was important to know who I wanted to work with and reach out to them. This program is like studio arts and self-guided so self-direction is important to show.you're ready for the program.

Emailed to check the website. I'm really disappointed by their decision. It really would have been a pleasure to work with Linda Williams. Oh well. Tough program to get into.

Official acceptance on Mar. 14th, had an email from department head Mar. 7th indicating their submission of my application for acceptance.

Anyone hear back from the COM department yet? The Open House is quite soon, I thought they would be sending notifications around now.

To the person that had a Skype interview today, which group was it?

Was sent an email to send official transcripts and then I was sent an email to let me know that I was accepted.

Got a generic email that was only a few lines. The person who sent it made a mistake at first and sent me a rejection email that didnt have my name on it. i.e.)Dear : rnShe sent another email with my name on it 8 min later, but cant say it felt good.rnGlad it was one of my less preferred schools.

funny... this was my safe school and I got rejected. Felt bad but at least I got into a better ranking school, so ha!

Was told that they hoped to be in contact with me soon and that they had interest in my application but space needed to let up. Email also said they'd let me know after April 20th what their definitive answer will be. Good luck to everyone!

I declined an acceptance from another school in (desperate) hopes of good news from UCLA. I inquired about the wait, and they said the sheer volume of responses and the complications they had with application system are causing delays. 3.67 GPA conditional offer though, hope i fulfill the requirements!
