Disappointing, since I thought the interviews had gone well?

To other Stanford MSCS accepts: do you receive an official offer letter? In my admission email, the attachment is some "CGSResolution", and I couldn't find my official letter in ApplyWeb either.

University of Toronto, Engineering Science

I applied to nine schools; was only rejected at Stanford and Cal Poly; acceptances include USC, Colorado Boulder, UCLA, and University of Washington; GPA 3.42; GRE 170/160/5.0; one summer research internship; three strong LoR; strong leadership involvement

non-CS undergrad from top 20 US college. 1 co-authored paper, interned at stanford computer science department as research assistant for 3 quarters, took 3 classes at stanford and got As in all of them.

ttpb, how many years have been in the company as a SDE to apply for HCP? Do you have all references from undergraduate?

HCP Program. Non-CS engineering undergrad, software engineer at the same company since then.

That's reasonable since the best undergraduates compete for this program. Going to CMU, hoping to get here for doctural study.

Went to Stanford for a MS.

First CMU and now Stanford. All my safe schools are rejecting me. Actually very scared now.

Good GPA, 2 relevant internships and strong LORs. No publications though.

Just received the rejection. Expected but still sad. Looks like most of the undergrad admits come from top US universities, which I don't. "Thank you for applying to the MS in Computer Science program at Stanford University. The MSCS Admissions Committee has reviewed your application and we are sorry to inform you that the committee did not recommend you for admission. The number of applicants far exceeds the number of those we can admit, which makes the admissions process a difficult and painstaking one. As a result, many strong candidates must be turned down."
