Graduate School Admission Results

TTPB who applied three times and has been accepted - congrats! This year was my 2nd time applying and I presume rejection. What changed in your application that you believe may have led to your acceptance? I will probably enroll in the Harvard Data Science program.. but maybe I'll wait and re-apply.

To those who don't believe that the accepts are real: I'm the one who tried three times and got accepted this time. Maybe it'll make you feel sad but these emails are real. Based on my past experience being rejected, the acceptance emails usually came before the rejection emails. Last year when I was rejected, the accepted students got their emails early in the afternoon, and I got my rejection email laster at night.

Just got an acceptance email from admissions@cs.stanford.edu with a Stanford student ID number; quite surprised that I got in since I got rejected by UCB last week.

please post a screen print of your admit, (to the over qualified genius below) LOL, definitely that's the fake guy!

I'm sure some underqualified international will report this as spam because they don't want it to be true but whatever

If I filter using "Stanford University Computer Science" and go back a few pages, MSCS results in 2019 seem to be on March 15 which has both admits and rejects. This is definitely the fake guy who is at it again.

Got the acceptance an hour ago. Stoked!

These are legit this time. I haven't received an email yet and am assuming I have been rejected. In years past it seems like there are first a wave of admits showing that they release admits first and therefore not together.

Whooah! Got admitted by CMU and Stanford. It's going to be tough deciding where to go.

congrats to the posters who got admits! Does Stanford send admits and rejects separately? I thought they usually send everything at the same time?

Posting to add credence since there were so many fakes before (I stopped checking Gradcafe about a week ago because of that). Good luck everyone!

Email came at 5:40 PM PDT. This is actually the third time I applied so I guess third time's the charm. Good luck everyone else!
