Mechanical Engineering, New York University Got in with 6k scholarship(international student). 1 internship with an American multinational company. No publication, Good SOP, not a high undergraduate GPA. This is my best admit so far. Most likely going. I'm So so happy.

Environmental And Forest Biology, State University Of New York College Of Environmental Science And Forestry Received an email saying that there was an update on my application status page. I wasn't expecting to get into the PhD program since I don't have a master's degree, but it was a pleasant surprise (I have research experience but no publications; I did not take the GRE Biology subject test). No information about funding yet. Good luck everyone!

Clinical Psychology, City University Of New York (CUNY) To the John Jay posters below, there is definitely a glitch with the application system at CUNY. I applied to the Graduate Center and when I randomly checked the portal a few weeks after submission, my application status said "Not Submitted". I reached out to the admissions office and they told me they cannot do anything and offered a refund. My issue was eventually resolved because I also reached out to the the PI I was applying to. I contacted a software engineer to figure out what happened and he said that the application system at CUNY is handled by a third party and they most probably don't have backup systems in place to ensure that all data always goes through. Really sorry for everyone whose applications weren't submitted or were submitted incomplete.

Computer Science, New York University To applicants of NYU & NYU.tandon, anyone knows if there will be more positive results? Because I didn't hear from these two. I once got reply from one professor I contacted in tandon, he said he would keep me updated if he had any questions, but no more news after that.

Electrical And Computer Engineering, New York University Informed of acceptance by POI, stating that I'll received the official offer in 1 to 2 days. Was awarded the Ernst Weber Fellowship with a $6000 bonus for first year. Research area is cybersecurity of power systems. MS GPA: 3.88/4.00. 4 IEEE Transactions and 2 IEEE Conference publications, with 2 addition IEEE Transactions under review at the time of application. Rejected last year, accepted this year!
