Sociology, City University Of New York (CUNY) To the CUNY posters below: I also interviewed at CUNY several weeks ago. I received an email last Friday saying that they'd made their decision about who they wanted to admit and that they'd sent the list to the Provost for approval. So now I've just been waiting anxiously.

Anthropology, City University Of New York (CUNY) To the ling poster below: from the conversations I had with CUNY faculty, they only take about 3 or so ling students every other year--I'm pretty sure this was a skip year for them :( (I applied to the sociocultural track but was interested in work by ling anth faculty)

Sociology, City University Of New York (CUNY) to the other CUNY posters, I also interviewed with CUNY around mid/late Jan. Got an email 2/5 saying that they were waiting for approval from the provost's office to make their offers, and asking us to let them know if anyone had made other admissions decisions. I'm a nervous wreck :)

Sociology, City University Of New York (CUNY) I interviewed three weeks ago at CUNY. Anyone heard back yet? To other poster who asked about SUNY interview: you made it through the first round which is an accomplishment. They want you. You have some of the power here. They are interviewing to make sure you're not weird and to make sure you'll say yes if they give you an offer. They'll ask about your research so give a good elevator speech about your interests and goals, and how they align with the dept. I overprepared for mine and was also nervous but you've made it this far, you'll do great.

Linguistic Anthropology, City University Of New York (CUNY) Nothing showing on my portal, no emails. I saw that some other anthropology disciplines have been notified so I wonder if Linguistic just goes by a different timeline? This is my second year applying for this program at CUNY. Last year I had an interview but no invitation to interview this year :/
