Received an email that said my application status had been updated.

TTPB: I agree with you, that is a possibility. I was even expecting an interview from Stanford but now I'm living on the edge. IMO, interview turnout should about 50-70%. Did the POI tell you about the result data? Past years trend shows that it should in the second week of Feb.

Applied to the Hopkins Marine Station, not surprised with the rejection though.

Was tld to check the portal for my letter. I honestly expected it, but I have other opportunities coming my way! SO not bummed tbh.

I have a M.Sc but no pubs (in prep). Expected a rejection since this would be a minor change in fields. Did not do the GRE.

Hopkins Marine Station. Expected rejection. No follow up from the advisor after initial email correspondence. Didn't have a face-to-face interview. Applied anyways because of perfect match of research interests. Nevertheless, it was a reach.

An email was send to look at the decision letter on the online application page. Rejected from the stem cell biology program at Stanford, but interviews at other top schools so feeling okay!

Email to check portal, where generic rejection letter was posted. Very much expected as this was a total reach. Wishing the best of luck to those with interviews!
