Graduate School Admission Results

I think getting an interview is necessary for the admit. TTPB who got invite for HCI; when is your interview? I guess results will be announced when all the interviews are done. I would be devasted to get rejected after the interview.

TTPB: Would you mind sharing the initials of which HCI professor reached out to you? Thanks in advance!

Interview from HCI group. Very surprised.

I received an email this afternoon indicating decision is posted in forum, then I checked, got a general rejection letter saying they received a record-breaking number of excellent applications, they cannot offer acceptance. Good luck to other people!

Got an email that I can check my application status on the application portal and boom.. rejected.. bummer..

Disappointing :( email was generic and was posted on the application portal. Apparently they received record breaking good applications this season. International, 3 years of research experience, 1 publication, masters degree and high distinction in both bachelors and masters.

TTPB: My interviewer told me the results will be out this week.

TTPB: I thought/heard Stanford doesn't really do interviews for Computer Science. Only some departments do, maybe, but the vast amount of candidates don't get an interview. Can anyone confirm?

Sigh...... Hey, y'all. I think I get rejected from ALL 13 programs. I'm so depressed now.... What should I do now? .. Good luck with all yours.
