For those who are inquiring about Michigan. As a U-M alum, I can confirm (told by faculty) that U-M does not conduct interviews prior to sending decisions. The other poster is also correct. Under normal circumstances, they consistently send decisions around the middle to end of February. |

Sharing some information: the reviewing process of admission materials have started but the admission committee is facing extra burdens reviewing the materials this year. Many of the top tier programs have suspended admission for fall 2021, making Michigan receiving much, much more applications than usual. |
