Email telling me to check portal! Field: Computer Architecture

Accepted through portal. Interviewed in Jan.

TTPB: I had an interview this week with one of the HCI professors. He said the results are accepted to come out early next week. My main interest was in UbiComp.

Can anyone applying to HCI comment? Did you get an interview? What area of HCI?

Yes, was actually part of SVL till somewhat recently, now has their own separate lab at Stanford

TTPB: Does the interviewer work on Vision but not from Stanford Vision Lab? I got the interview from the POI in SVL mentioned in SoP

I applied to vision, got interview by someone from outside the group. Seems like interviews don't have to be POIs mentioned in the SOP.

Accepted via email. Had an interview last Friday.

Did anyone get an interview from the Vision group (SVL)?

I guess the interview was quite neutral. I was told that decision will be out in a couple of weeks.

To the Stanford posters who received interviews. How was the sentiment of the professor who interviewed you. Were they very excited to have you on board? Or did they just say that the decisions will be known later, without giving much soft signal.

Got an email to sign up for an interview slot with d.school faculty. Interviews taking place in the 3rd and 4th weeks of February.
