Graduate School Admission Results

Rejected after an interview I thought went well. Sad :/

Anybody else been waitlisted? Probably just a rejection right? :(

TTPB who applied to Vision Lab but was interviewed by someone from outside the group: What was the duration of your interview? 15mins or 30 mins?

GPA is Master's; got call from POI; late antiquity subfield

follow up to question: the online status hasn't changed, it was only an email notification saying that once documents were verified an official letter would come from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering along with invite to virtual Stanford CEE Visit Day on March 5, i accidentally already sent in official transcripts at the time of application (later saw a note we weren't supposed to since the office was closed)

They sent me a letter saying that CLAS did not recommend me for admissions. Apparently, a lot of people applied for this upcoming school year.

TTPB: Oh man, seems like a lot of us want to work with JL. Too bad he probably only takes like 1-2 students a year based on the existing number of students in HCI.

TTPB: was your UbiComp poi JL?

TTPB: I think we interviewed the same professor who is doing ubicomp and said the exact same words. Good luck to both of us!

For those who were accepted to the SDC program, did your application portal status change from "submitted" to "complete"? Did you submit official transcript when you applied?

Received an Email, was told to check the decision letter in the Portal. Good luck to everyone!
