Interviewed by POI in first week of Jan. USC Grad Engineering Fellowship.

Area: Geospatial and Multidimensional Data Management // Fellowship

Received offer via email. Had an interview with PI before offer; my focus is on ML/NLP.

AI/ML track. With first year Fellowship and rest of TA/RA-ship.

Official acceptance + fellowship. Track is networking and systems. Undergrad from Top 10 US school, OK (but not stellar) GPA, 1 first-authored paper at top conference and 4-5 coauthored paper at top conferences and journals. Interviewed in early Jan.

First acceptance!!

Final year cs undergrad (tier 3) from India, 9.5+ CGPA, 2 years of ML Research experience, 3 publications at decent venues (A*/A), average test scores, probably strong LoR's from advisors. Happy but the sheer intake of USC scares me :(

Interviewed with POI and was then told to free dates for visit weekend.

Had 2 separate interviews with the faculty members I mentioned in my application. I was told that I'll receive the decision letter in late Jan.

Submitted my application (Viterbi CS Gen) on 14th December and paid the app fee. Got an email saying it was successfully received. However, got an email today saying "This is a friendly reminder that you have an application in-progress, and that the application deadline is approaching.". Anyone else experiencing this? Note: International applicant who hasn't yet uploaded passport and financial docs. Could this be the reason? Although the portal shows "completed" on my application.

3.5 years of research experience, no publications, internship with environmental startup, interview/recruitment days are Jan 27 and 28 so excited!!
