Rejected from HCP in Electrical for spring. First author conference publication and 1 year work experience.

Received an email to check the portal. Accepted to MS EE HCP for Spring 2021 start. GPA: 4.0/4.0, GRE: 168Q/170V.

3.85 GPA from top Canadian mechatronics/robotics program. 3 publications, 2 first author. No GRE. Thought I had a good statement and LoRs. Very strong extra-curriculars and TA experience. Wish I could get feedback.

Very much expected. 3.7 undergrad gpa, 4 internships, 2 years experience full time, 3 LORs from VP at company and ML profs. No publications.

just got accepted through email! before this it was radio silence. no GRE, no publications, 2 years research. experimental QIS and photonics interest

3.84 undergraduate GPA from highly ranked university, three strong LOR, two years of undergraduate research, and one first author publication. Disappointed but not surprised. Congratulations to everyone who got in!

Canadian EE undergrad 90/100 GPA. No GRE. 5 internships and 3 years full time @ Apple. No publications.

Expected. Undergrad EE from top 20 in U.S. (3.83) One year of DL research. No papers. No GRE. One YOE as MLE. LOR from Stanford Alum. Gotta have research and papers for sure.

Did not get email yet but on the portal I got the rejection letter. Two internships, two research experience, and one teaching assistant position. Undergrad at top 30 US school. One conference paper.

Stanford is my top choice. field: IR .. looks like only 2 IR spots are being offered this cycle. So thrilled!

Avg GPA, lots of research experience, great LORs. Expected this result though.
