Although UCLA has a GRE verbal limit of above 162, I still apply for that as I want to study in California. It is obvious that I was rejected because of the low GRE verbal score. |

School gives me a fellowship to cover 1st yr tuition ($48K). Got into all 3 programs in East Asian Studies I applied for. Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. Yale offered full-funding and generous living stipend. I'm still waiting to hear from Harvard how much money they'll give. I think my relatively strong working experiences, strong LoR and SoP got me in. |
