Out of the universities you mention I think the last visit day is MIT, ending on April 1st. So, there will be potentially more movement after that, which should trickle down to all top 20 universities (and maybe even beyond). Be patient and don't give up hope!

I think that movements in these universities' waiting list can trigger a lot of movement in top 20 universities. I guess that after the open houses, we should expect more movements in those universities. Anyone knows when these universities' open houses are (were)?

Transportation Systems Track

Transportation track. I didnt think I would get in tbh but its still sad

Applied for MEng IE. Rejected after one interview. Interviewed on 2/16/2021.

TTPB: I've looked through a decent amount of this website and haven't seen anybody talk about interviewing for EECS MEng. On the website they say they only interview you if they still have questions for you. So there's probably a group that are definite admits that won't get interviews and a group of definite rejects that also won't get interviews. So there's definitely a chance you'll still make it in.

For whom who received an offer from UCB, when did you have the interview? Are you considering going? Thanks. (Please ignore the waitlist. That's the only option I can select.)

TTPB: I haven't received a decision yet either. The only contact I received from UC Berkeley was an invitation to interview back on March 3rd. It seems like there were two rounds of interviews one March 3-5 and another March 14-15. But I haven't seen any acceptances or rejections for the EECS MEng program

TTPB: [Ignore Interview] I haven't heard anything from EECS yet. Has anyone else heard back? Their website does indicate that they plan to release all decisions by April, and last year I think they started releasing decisions around 3/23.

It finally comes. It is a relief for me because I don't need to come to this website every day to check the result. "It is with regret that we write to inform you that you have not been accepted for graduate study at the University of California, Berkeley. Unfortunately, this may result in not being able to accept many applicants who are capable of excellent academic work. We appreciate the interest you have shown in UC Berkeley and wish you success in achieving your academic goals."
