Ignore the waitlist. Has anyone heard back regarding the decisions for the SEMM Ph.D. program?

Has anyone got decisions updated? Is there a chance to still get admitted? Guys this is my dream project. To those who have received the offer, real congrats! If you want to reject the offer, please please do so as soon as possible. Really thanks!

had meeting with faculty during application season and was encouraged to apply. The field subject was good match, but the dynamic/energy during the interview was not a good match. No email responses from the PI ever since. Inquired the PhD coordinator and informally told about the rejection.

Transportation engineering, funding for 1 semester

Re: previous post: I'm also waiting on a decision from Berkeley (thought I was the only one). Based on previous entries, I'm expecting it to be a rejection, as it appears the acceptance letters have gone out already. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm moving on to my other options. Good luck!

Transportation Engineering track. I was recommended for admission today. They say I should expect the formal letter within two weeks. Sadly, no funding was offered at this time. Wish you better luck!

I wanted to know if anyone heard back regarding their Ph.D. admission status. The department said they would finalize decisions by mid-march.

ttpb: Congrats! When you say it was internal, was this a 5th yr MS after Berkeley undergrad?

Accepted to the internal MS program, not the MEng program

TTPB: I'm literally in the same boat, had an interview in January, and my POI told me that I was one of their top contenders. Also in controls area. I didn't hear back for five weeks, and then I emailed her to ask for a status update. As of two weeks ago she was still admitting students... hopefully we'll get good news soon!
