Graduate School Admission Results

Today is the final day for accepting financial aids, if you haven't received any confirmation so far I think it is a no for the PhD :-(

Waitlisted, was notified last night that I would not be getting an offer. If you were WL and haven't heard from Stanford yet, you might have a good shot.

Anyone received any offer of admission in the past few days (from the waitlist)?

hi all -- this is a long shot, but if anyone else is thinking about declining stanford, I would really really appreciate it! stanford is my dream program that fits perfectly with my interests. none of the other programs I've been admitted/waitlisted at have faculty working in my interests at the intersection of epistemology, mind, language, and history of philosophy over the past hundred years, but stanford has many professors I want to work with in these areas. if I don't get into stanford this year, I'm going to have to reapply next cycle. I was also born and raised in the bay area, and going to stanford would mean that I can stay near my family and close friends, which is especially important to me during the pandemic. my mom lives alone, is in her 60's, and doesn't have any family nearby, so I want to stay close to her as long as I can. if you decline, I can't express how much I'd appreciate it!

Please ignore the waitlist. No news on my application status and I even contacted the department but no response. I am checking my application portal as well but no update. It is so frustrating to keep waiting in dark.

Just offered a place after being on the waitlist! Planning to accept!!

Email to check portal. Track is Atmosphere and Energy. I would have rejected the offer anyways as the program isn't strong within my research area (Power and energy systems) coupled with the fact that I got an offer elsewhere and with the most generous funding that exists on this planet. Looooooooool. Anyways, best of luck to those who got in. 6 IEEE Journals, 2 IEEE Conferences published as at the time of application.

Ignore Waitlist... Has anyone received any notification for MS in Sustainable Design & Construction program?

Rejected post-interview. I was waitlisted for a while and I reached out today and was told to consider accepting other offers. 17 students were interviewed for only 4 slots.

Final decision by May 15 :(

TPB: I contacted them a few days ago and was told that nobody on their waitlist has received an offer yet.
