To the posters asking about CMU rejection mail. Yes, CMU sends out a rejection email. If you are not getting the rejection then it can be because your application was not submitted on time. It can be either due to late online payment/submission or if one or more of your recommenders had not submitted their letter(s) on time, i.e. the deadline (10th Dec 2018). Hope this helps.

So sad !! I had applied for LTI (PhD), MSML and MSCS (in this order of preference). Got accepted by LTI and rejected by other two. Is it because I was accepted at my first preference ? I had no clue CMU would do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

TTPB: i am not able to log in. Does that mean there is no chance of acceptance? Usually once decisions are finalized they start mailing. So if someone got official mail then I am guessing I won't be accepted into the program

MSCV

Undergrad from tier 1 institute in India with a GPA of 9.58/10.0.. Undergraduate thesis with a paper submitted (waiting for results) and a summer internship in Germany via the DAAD WISE Scholarship. Got rejected from MS in ML program but really glad to have gotten this admit. Best of luck to everyone :)

Rejected from Ph.D. in HCI. Masters GPA: 3.67. 8 Publications and 2+ years of research experience in HCI. Good luck to all who were accepted.
