Physics, Northwestern University Unofficial decision about 2 weeks ago, portal update today, was hoping for NW. But i don't understand why, they said only 2 letters needed but all will be read all if you send more. How can they do a uniform analysis this way

Physics, University of Notre Dame 1 1/2 years of internships and research at national labs. Introduced to faculty by internship advisor. No pubs (yet). My rejection letter was literally two sentences long. This feels like a slap in the face.
