Graduate School Admission Results

YAAAAAAAAAYYY FINALLLYYYYY. Stats; IIT Madras. 3 internships and 1 publication

Torn between G.Tech MSCS and UCSD MSCS. Have got good and bad reviews on both. Slightly inclined towards UCSD because of more flexibility to choose courses and better CV research. People I reached out to said in rankings both colleges are identical. Agree to the general norms that both colleges have taken in good profiles as well as profiles below average in the name of diversity. Overall cost of the MS is also nearly identical at both places but UCSD seems to have the nicer weather while TA is completely waived off in GTech. Any responses would be highly appreciated

Undergrad from a top IIT. Fellowship at Microsoft Research and excellent research experience in intended field of study with strong LORs. Was shocked to have received a reject. Personally felt my profile was a better fit for the specialization than those admitted. Seems like they wanted to keep their yield game strong. No regrets. Congratulations to whoever got in.

B.Tech. in Computer Science from a 3rd generation IIT. Good research experience at IIT Bombay and Microsoft Research.

There was a mail about an update on the portal. The letter was on the Admission Status Portal.

B.S CS undergraduate at Tech, had 3 recommendations from Tech professors. Was accidentally rejected on the 5th.

received an email on the 5th first but the status was updated yesterday. 3rd admit after Wisconsin PMP and Purdue. Will probably go to Purdue and reject this. Btech in CS from old IIT, 2 yrs work ex

Accepted off the waitlist. Interviewed POI last week. Very happy and excited! Will decline other offers soon.

Received email to check portal, accepted to MS CS on campus

Haven't received an e-mail, checked the application portal and saw the rejection update. Congrats to all those who got accepted!

Got mail for status update. Absolutely elated! :D Applied specialisation in Computing Systems

No email. Simple rejection. Standard email.

Checked portal (I was checking it every 15 min, to be honest) and saw an update (says "posted on April 2") but it was not there 15 min ago. No email notification about an update. Seriously depressed, was my dream school for 7 years. Everyone's who's waiting - go log into the portal, maybe you'll get an update too.

i did not receive an email saying its a reject. I've logged in everyday to see and it says nothing and today I login and it's like status update posted 31st March. I am baffled at how such a esteemed college does this.

GRE: 325 TOEFL: 111 CGPA: 3.5/4 4 publications, good projects, 6 internships, Strong SOP and LORs, MLH Fellow, All for nothing. GaTech scammed us!
