Graduate School Admission Results

To the poster below asking about Cornell: No, I haven't heard back either. From previous years' posts regarding Cornell's admission results, it seems that we should expect to hear back in two or three days (10 or 11 Feb). Fingers crossed and good luck!

Hey has anyone heard back from the program? Particularly for cultural anthro. Thanks!

Personal email from POI that I had been accepted by the school

Conditional offer, seeking college admission, no word on funding.

Applied for the sociocultural program. I have a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in applied social science disciplines; 3.6 GPA in both degrees. 18 months of ethnographic research experience and 8+ years international work experience in my geographic area of interest. I was never asked to interview, so I was not very hopeful about getting an admit. I received an email to check the portal and I found a polite, generic rejection letter from the department chair.

To poster below, I had the interview. I haven't heard anything, even though the prof who interviewed me told me I'd hopefully hear by late Jan.
