Accepted off waitlist

Have not heard from them at all since I submitted my application in December and they just send a standard rejection letter on the last day... it was 100% expected but still... unprofessional

Rejected off the waitlist; I was told that I was "high on the waitlist" and that "people in your position on the waitlist quite often receive an offer."

Was wait-listed March. I personally knew of someone who had applied to the same research field and group as me and rejected the offer. I was really hoping for this, I work with a young Prof who joined the department last fall. The email said there's no funding or advising capacity in the department. None of this makes sense. It was my second cycle and I've genuinely no where to go now.

Absolutely does not worth to spend time and application fee for this uni. They have little funding and projects, and could hire as per available positions, instead of making applicants to pay fee and do paid tests for non existing positions.

Is anyone still waiting to hear back?! Its april 15 and I didn't even receive a rejection yet, feel like they ghosted me

This University didn't even care to send any sort of communication whatsoever!!!! No rejection letter, waitlist notification.... Nothing!! and it costs $100 #### dollars.. Thank God, I am not going to the US and already have an offer from an European university accepted.
