Was wait-listed March. I personally knew of someone who had applied to the same research field and group as me and rejected the offer. I was really hoping for this, I work with a young Prof who joined the department last fall. The email said there's no funding or advising capacity in the department. None of this makes sense. It was my second cycle and I've genuinely no where to go now.
