Graduate School Admission Results

Anyone hear from NYU yet????!!! I'm starting to wonder if they literally forgot my application.

2 first-author papers in a top peer-reviewed journal in Mechanical Engineering (among the top 30 in the field according to SciMago); MSc GPA: 3.76/4; graduating from the top-tier program in the country; TOEFL iBT: 105; the best master's thesis in the university; 4 years of work experience (3 in industry); 3 strong LORs; myriad academic projects; and with various software and programming languages; seemingly, the weakness was BSc GPA; this has showed me that some programs never consider your strengths and simply ignore them for your weakness. Hence, it is good that I did not get admission to such a program. Never be upset about not being admitted to such programs since you deserve better, don't doubt.

Ignore Status...Anyone heard anything about this program?

Unofficially waitlisted on February 29th via email from advisor, Officially waitlisted March 27th via email from Physics and Astronomy Graduate Program, Unofficially accepted April 4 via email from advisor (told I will receive an acceptance offer from the department in a couple days).

I was informed that I was on their waitlist a while back, but I'm still waiting. They say that they are down to 18 people on the waitlist for 2 slots. This school is so important to me. If you have better offers, please decline, and I will always be in your debt.
