2 first-author papers in a top peer-reviewed journal in Mechanical Engineering (among the top 30 in the field according to SciMago); MSc GPA: 3.76/4; graduating from the top-tier program in the country; TOEFL iBT: 105; the best master's thesis in the university; 4 years of work experience (3 in industry); 3 strong LORs; myriad academic projects; and with various software and programming languages; seemingly, the weakness was BSc GPA; this has showed me that some programs never consider your strengths and simply ignore them for your weakness. Hence, it is good that I did not get admission to such a program. Never be upset about not being admitted to such programs since you deserve better, don't doubt.
