Urban And Regional Planning, University Of Alberta I had a short time to respond to the offer (about seven to ten days), which was exceptional. I received an award of 5,000 about a month later via an email from the department. This amount increased to 7,000 about a month later. Also, pay attention to the fact that although the deadline to apply for the program is pretty late (March 15th), the admission takes place on a rolling basis. Therefore, keep in mind to apply as soon as possible if you have made your mind about it.

Electrical And Computer Engineering, University Of Alberta apply for the direct PhD with the bachelor's degree, but the prof. recommend to change to MSc in the first year. No official offer until now, and I plan to ask about the progress.

Sociology, University Of Alberta High GPA, Honours degree, research experience, excellent references. Can't believe I waited this long for a rejection, but such is life. Will try again next year! Don't give up, and good luck to those who got in.

Chemistry, University Of Alberta At first I was given the standard rejection letter back in April, but I guess a spot opened up so I got in! I wish they saved me the tears and told me I was waitlisted or something, but regardless I am beyond excited! Good luck to everyone else

Civil And Environmental Engineering, University Of Alberta MEng self funding, GPA 7.3/10, international student with 1 year working experience. Not much surprised but they took it too long, I applied in Nov 2020. Finding other school for next term.
