Computer Science, University Of Alberta Hello All, International Applicant here. Is anyone's GARS portal still shows status as undecided? I have seen quite a few known people getting their results last week. Please comment, if anyone's decision is still pending.

Computer Science, University Of Alberta Well, I kinda expected this... A friend in Alberta told me they greatly reduced the number of international students this year because of deferred students from last year + funding. Anyway, I got into other schools. Good luck to everyone else.

Computer Science, University Of Alberta Applied to both Course and thesis. Thought I was competitive to Course-based program. Got rejected on GARS, no emails etc. Is this the final decision for both course-based and thesis program ?

Computer Science, University Of Alberta GARS. I looked through everyone who have received a decision. All of them are rejection from Alberta. Do they accept anyone? My GRE is not good, but not too bad. I have 5 years of working experience in the field too. Not sure what are they expecting from a candidate? I saw people who have better scores than me with a rejection too....

Computer Science, University Of Alberta Applied to both Thesis and Course Based MSc. I had 2 IEEE conference papers, CGPA 3.62/4.00 and 8 months experience as an Undergrad TA. Still got rejected. I don't understand what kind of profile they actually expect from us!
