Got an email notice to check my online application for results! GPA 3.79, Q/V/W 168/167/5.0, pretty good project portfolio website that may have helped my application if you want to see for reference www.davidagriggs.com. No mention of an admitted student visit or funding in the letter.... I'm told some MS students find GRAs or GTAs, and maaaaybe a fellowship after first semester? But I'm not crossing my fingers.

1 publication, undergrad institute isn't in top 10 in the country, 4 projects, and 1 internship. Well wasn't expecting acceptance, though it would have been nice. Good luck to all, and kudos to selected candidates!

To the poster below: Stanford Applied is a separate program with a separate deadline. Typically the (regular) physics department does not issue acceptances in January, so there's nothing tp be worried about at the moment.
