Ignore waitlist. Did anyone get accepted into this school on or after 3/27/2023?

Email from department saying waitlisted. Apparently no applicant who received the offer got back to them till last week. So, to anyone who got the offer and have already decided to go some place better, please consider declining this offer as soon as possible. This is my dream place. Atleast, I will be considered again along with the other waitlisted candidates ,if any offer holder declines. Thank you very much in advance.

I had an interview with one of their grad committee members back in February. They had kept me waitlisted until today, when I dropped them a mail about my status and their reply was "I'm afraid that we've reached our quota of admitted students so we won't be able to make any offers to people on the waitlist." So if you are waiting for CMU, it is better you look for alternative options.

Got accepted without the Amelio fellowship, I let them know that I'd need the fellowship. They have already made fellowship offers, but if anyone declines, they'd grant me the fellowship. Therefore, if anyone who has got the Amelio fellowship has better offers, pls decline and let them know, would be very helpful. *insert Bernie Sanders meme* I'm once again urging anyone accepted to gatech with the Amelio fellowship to decline their offers asap, so that other selected students who're in dire need of the fellowship can stand a chance even to be considered for it. Pretty please!

OSU just increased their graduate student stipends and are also now covering 100% health insurance. Did anyone else receive this email?

I met with a professor in early February who indicated he wanted to work with me and I would likely get in. I was discouraged when I was wait listed in mid March. However it seems the wait list isn't strictly a delayed rejection; I'm in! I was notified by an email instructing me to check the portal. I have a first author paper in ApJ.

May I know if anyone here recieved acceptance for this position and having research interests in Exoplanets and faculty preference is Dr. Diana Dragomir? Please let me know if you have any info regarding this.
