GPA is Grad. Same as below, got an email notifying me for the interview, and told me that the decision will be made early February.

I received a detailed email from the DGS today inviting me to interview for the program (one of my top picks!) which also included information about the acceptance timeline. The committee plans to send out admission offers by the end of next week.

Received an email from the Grad Admission Chair. (2a/0w/1r/many)

1a/0r/19p. No email; I checked the portal and saw acceptance. Emailed the department and they confirmed the decision. Also selected for a potential university fellowship.

I figured I'd put this here for future candidates: Interviewed at Duke today. My interview, at least, was essentially SoP in interview form: Why are you pursuing PhD? What topics interest you? Why are you applying to Duke? Writing sample questions (including some questions probing criticism) Here's hoping I didn't make a fool of myself! I got the sense that this is a final cut type of interview rather than a vetting of candidates they hoped to accept. But I may be wrong. Posting to give insight because these interviews are relatively new and it's good to have the information out there.
