No Gre

Emailed them asking for update. Told that they have already sent out offers for fall but that they would keep me updated if they fall through.

No notification. Checked portal on a whim to see rejection. Got better offers in higher ranked unis so not really upset

I thought this was a really good faculty fit. GPA is grad. Did not submit GRE. Drop-down isn't working, I'm American

Emailed to grad program admin and she told me that I am on the wait list. Only 2 international students will be admitted this year and those who receive the offer have until April 6 to respond. Hope this information is useful for some of you 2a/1w/1r/4p

Felt a little upset seeing the rejection, because the research of a professor at BU has always been inspiring my own work since I determined my interest in sociology. Congrats to whoever is admitted, and good luck to everyone!

Any disappointment is completely overshadowed by just finally receiving the rejection!!!

FINALLY the rejection came lfgggg

International student with 35% merit-scholarships. May I ask if the scholarship of this amount is too small? I don't know if it is my ability or NSSR's funds have decreased after the pandemic. I heard that the scholarships given a few years ago were around 50%.

Ignore the waitlist. I know they said it would take 2 weeks to a month, but has anyone heard back yet?
