Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Got notified of my rejection through email today from the MEng program. Was on the waitlist earlier.

Finally rejected after being waitlisted since mid Feb.

Generic rejection email.

TTPB: To the other Top 5 IITian (has to be the 5th one) flexing around. I've already got an admit from Top 10. PS: No Grad school cares about your Codeforces orange or yellow. And please don't run around giving UNASKED profile references. You seem like that guy named Suhash from 3 Idiots (dedh lakh ki sherwani)

(I'm who was admitted to Engineers and Scientists). My first degree was in engineering however I'm enrolled in a cs post bacc program.

TTPB: Thanks for confirming and congrats on your admit. Any idea whether they have sent rejects as well? Sadly, a reject incoming :(

TTPB rejected from Data Science : what was your undergrad major and stats? If you were not CS, makes sense why the CSDS program transferred you to the CS for Scientists.

Did any of you guys apply to multiple Viterbi programs and not hear back from all of them?

I think I'm accepted. Rejected from DS but considered for Engineers and Scientist. Received an email to accept my admission by May 10th but never received an official offer of admission.

TTPB: I think there are some seats left. Idk maybe you might hear back from them this week.

Answering 2 questions at the same time. I accepted the offer(May 1st was the deadline). I received an email from the department and got a status update on April 5th. For the second question, you sound arrogant as I clearly posted it as "MS CS". This year the competition was tough, and I had unexpected rejects from few universities. My profile for reference, CS from top 5 IITs, RA at CERN, Interned at FAANG, orange coder on Codeforces.

TTPB: (ignore waitlist) how do you know that we are on waitlist? are you just guessing? waiting is so painful.

TTPB: Are you sure you got an admit for Computer Science MS and not MCS or Data Science MS? In their mail, they clearly mentioned that they do not have rolling admissions. I'm aware that Data Science MS decisions were out last week.

Are there people who applied before December 15th and are still waiting. This is so frustrating. Any idea why it's taking so long to hear from them?

Yesterday was a bad day I got two rejections! they don't bother themselves at all and didn't send a rejection email at least. I was waitlisted and had a supervisor, yesterday I saw a rejection from this university in grad cafe and then checked portal and see not admitted! I think I lost my chance for 2021. 5 years work experience, IELTS 6.5.

I got a general email, I couldn't find any supervisor and it was just risky option!
