Graduate School Admission Results

Received email that portal was updated! Got $20,000 scholarship! Had three strong LOR (one from study abroad professor), double major in speech language hearing sciences and human development family sciences with a concentration in early childhood, many hours working in child labs, one year undergrad research assistant, involved in University's Dance Company on Executive Board and mutliple time choreographer,

I sent an email to check the status and was told that decisions have already been made and will be communicated soon. I was not admitted due to the highly competitive nature, especially for international students.

admission conditional on funding but waitlisted for funding...is there any hope?

Expected; interests and research exp in biomath but limited resources for such here

Email said they received over 500 applicants, honored to be on the list! This was the only school that I have not been accepted to so far (got into 5 others) makes sense since the location and the tuition are prime. I am still lucky to have some great opportunities in Boston and Washington D.C.!

Very nice email from admissions director. This is my top choice! Please let UWM know if you have already made a decision.

Hi all- has anyone received any information about funding?? I received my acceptance on 2/5/24 saying funding information was forthcoming, just wondering if anyone had heard anything. Congrats to all admits!
