Graduate School Admission Results

I am applying for hep-ex phd, but I didn't receive any message since I submitted the application. (1/12/2022) Has anyone heard any update?

Email from PI. Not clinical track. They accept 3-4 non-clinical students/year.

Email to check the portal, 'committee is unable to take favorable action'. 3 years of relevant experience, 5 pubs, and 1 in prep. Was 'encouraged to apply' by a prof in the department. GPA 3.31 after fall grades. PS: Put in my undergrad uni for some reason on the last post, eff me :(

Avoid this university at all costs! UA Little Rock has substandard process of graduate application with collecting PhD and other graduate program applicant fees firstly and not requesting any admission related docs. They have silly administrative systems and disorganized controls through out their entire institution space. Whoever you would call on for action before or after the degree program enrollment from the Chancellor to the cashier may provide zero assistance or would worsen your condition. Avoid at all costs.

Rejected by generic e-mail. BS and MS from a top university in my country with great global reputation for Physics. GPA is grad. UG GPA is 3.57. 2.5 years of research experience at a national aerospace lab. 3 insignificant pubs in native language, 1 major paper in English under review, 1 patent, 2 pending patents. Attempted contacted faculty beforehand, but haven't received a reply. No interview.

Received email of acceptance from POI on 2/3. Received email from Graduate Admissions Center on 2/5 to check application status in application portal where I received an official letter of admit.
