Computer Science Graduate School Admission Results

Got an official email saying I was put on a waitlist. The final decision will be out in late April and early May. Does anyone know the chances of admission? I have a Ph.D. offer from another institution, but I really want to go to Rice. Do I need to wait for it?

Got an email at 1 am (California time) No GRE, bachellor in Data Science and AI at a top dutch university, graduated over top 10% of my year, one year research experience, no publications, 5 projects, 3 years full time work experience, 2 as Software Engineer of an important satellite in Europe, one as a senior SE at the Space Center of the European Space Agency, many many extracurricular (sailing world champion 7 years ago, over 100k followers on Ig…)

The supervisor is not mentioned in the offer letter. Have to find it by myself. Specialization in Computer Vision. Bachelors from Jadavpur University, India, Electrical Engineering: GPA: 8.9/10, 11 Research Papers. 5 under review. Lots of projects in undergrad. Three strong SOPs from previous supervisors. Research internships in ETH, Sorbonne, IITs, etc. Funding of 33k/y. Probably going to choose SBU.

Got accepted to the research-based MS CS program. Indian Tier 2 University with a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (had all CS electives), CGPA - 3.92/4, substantial research experience; co-first author of 2 papers submitted to International Journals in field of interest; 2.5+ years of work ex as a Software Developer

Computational Biology. No GRE scores nor publication. GPA within the 3.5-4.0 range from a top 20 university worldwide. Multiple research projects throughout my undergraduate years and strong support from my letter writers (previous research supervisors).

1 FAANG internship, no research experience. I do a lot of open source. Happy to be a Yalie!!! :^)
