Rejected from MS CS program at UC Berkeley. 2+ years of undergraduate research experience at a large state school and 3 good LORs. Likely was rejected due to lack of publications and not being a great research fit. Expected this. Congratulations to everyone who gets in!

I had the interview 3 weeks ago and got the TA offer 1 hour ago. I am from Turkey with a bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from one of the best universities in Turkey

No Financial Aid

Applied for Hardware for efficient inference of nn algorithms. Undergrad in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering with minors in AI and CS. LMAO GPA. Best IIT. Reco letter from institute director. One publication in Computational Neuroscience @ top tier journal. Industry experience. Teaching experience. Experience mentoring interns in my 'failed' startup.

2 weeks before the decision the status changed from department review to additional review required. Yesterday status changed to OIS I20 requested and today i.e. 03/08/2022 I received a mail saying I've been admitted into the program and the status page changed to conditional acceptance. My background: 4 internships 2 industry and 2 research, top-tier college.

Safe uni; Got into MSCS, GPA: 8.8/10, Tier -3 College from Mumbai, GRE: 324 (Q166, V158, A4.5), TOEFL: 118. Status change under Additional Review Required about a month ago. Got the admit today!

Email to check the portal, where I found a standard rejection letter. MSc from top uni in Europe with a good GPA, first-author publication at a top-tier venue, research internship experience, and SWE internship at a renowned tech company. Found out after applying that POI wasn't hiring this year, and I had no interview, so the rejection was expected

Generic rejection. Got admitted to a better university though.

Was informed by some students that the lab doesn't have openings after application.

My application status was changed into 'Additional Review Required' from 'Under Departmental Review'. After one week, I got an email from the department that I got accepted with financial aid.
