Summer internship at CERN. 2 very strong LORs and 1 perhaps average. 3 years research experience. 8.0 IELTS score. And in the rejection mail they say "Gaining more computer science-related research experience and/or work experience and improving grades, GRE and/or (if applicable) English language scores may help to strengthen your application." It's all about luck. A blind shot gamble. |
