Graduate School Admission Results

not a great fit, anyway

IGNORE status. Has anyone heard back from the program? Was interviewed in mid Jan and mailed program this week and they say results will come as late as April 15 which does not make much sense... Thanks!

Accepted without funding. Not my cycle. 1 “a” / 1 w / 2 p / 2 r

HEP-Ph. Meanwhile I am rejected at The University of Manchester, they didn't even consider me for an interview. Atleast, I believe that I deserve to be on the interview list. At Manchester, PI told me before application that they have funds for international students but now I believe this is not true. I am currently doing a project which is directly related to her topic. Sometimes, I believe how universities in the UK still hold good ranks and reputations if they have no funds to take foreign students.

HEP-Ph. PI sent me an email asking for availability for 2 rounds of official interviews. I have a paper exactly on the same topic as the PI had with his PhD students but I got better results. I also submitted another preprint just a day before the deadline. Strong LORs from both supervisors. I have a Particle Theory Masters from Italy. 3+ years of research experience in HEP-Ph.

First acceptance!

Applied to joint statistics and neural computation PhD. Didn't get accepted into either the joint PhD or the statistics PhD.

Ignore waitlist, do anyone heard back from the astro program?

I was wondering if anyone else who had an interview in January 17th has received any updates or heard back from the program?

No GRE. Older applicant. Third year trying to start PhD. Was going to give up this time.... Perfect fit and dream school. I'm in shock.

Interviewed three weeks ago

Ignore waitlist. Could anyone confirm if Hopkins is done with one round of admissions? I see sporadic acceptances from various fields, but not a well-defined round.

I am so excited. This was my most preferred school among the schools I applied to. The wait was tiring but I thank God.

No GRE. I'm thrilled beyond words.
