HEP-Ph. PI sent me an email asking for availability for 2 rounds of official interviews. I have a paper exactly on the same topic as the PI had with his PhD students but I got better results. I also submitted another preprint just a day before the deadline. Strong LORs from both supervisors. I have a Particle Theory Masters from Italy. 3+ years of research experience in HEP-Ph.
