Sociology Graduate School Admission Results

an email from Prof McLean that I wasnt in the 30 ppl who got into the final round. total applicants around 100.

got an email from Graduate Program Director: "We reviewed approximately 100 completed applications and have narrowed our choices to the top thirty of those applications. Your dossier was not among those that the committee moved along to the final round."

GPA is grad. Accepted, but they said funding is unsure. Sad.

Ignore status. Has anyone heard anything back from UCSB? I saw from another forum that the admission decisions are out so I wanted to confirm this.

Didn't receive any information from the committee. Emailed the Graduate Assistant about the status update, and got a private rejection letter lol. Dream school, dream program, and dream PI though. A little bit disappointed but expected (a low GRE AW score). Not sure if they still have waiting lists, but I'm afraid not. Still Congrats to all those who got admitted! Good luck! 4a/2i/2wl/4r/9p

IGNORE STATUS. Has anyone heard anything? any interviews by the department so far?

GPA is masters. Not too bummed out since I hear funding has been more scarce than usual for International students at UCLA this year.
