Physics Graduate School Admission Results

hep-th/cosmology, I'd really appreciate if people who have better offers would reject their offer. I have external deadlines and CMU may be my only shot.

Those still waiting with many rejections, let's not give up, good news will come after this silence from mid-March. And those who have many options, please kindly make your choices before April for other guys.

For those who haven't been accepted anywhere and haven't heard back yet from some universities. Odds are low as of now, assume that you've been rejected and plan accordingly for what you're doing next year, if you do get accepted then thats great but if you dont, its better to be prepared.

UCSB accepted 70 students in the past week and a half. Has anyone received or know of anyone who has received an informal/formal acceptance in the past week or two? Or have they not sent out these acceptances yet?

I got accepted to 6 of the 7 schools I applied to. What a choice I will have to make now...

Hep-ex. Have got no offer yet. Anyone who has an offer from Tufts and has a better second choice could u plz decline the offer? It is heartbreaking to be put on a waitlist.

Ignore waitlist. Has Columbia concluded results? I see some acceptances on 29 feb.

I applied for hep-th 2nd time. I didn't get any acceptance till now. Is this the end of my physics career? If you are in a similar situation, what are your plans for next? Going to industry? Most universities that I applied to have already sent acceptances long ago, but why are they so late in sending rejections this year?

Did anyone got rejection from Uconn or this university puts everyone in waiting list accept the one who got acceptance, the same thing I want to ask about LSU and Wayne State Physics and Astronomy.

Ignore the interview! Did anyone accepte to the hep-th or hep-ph of Notre Dame? Any plan to accept it or reject?

Not even my first choice (or a choice at all), don't know why I applied, waste of 105$. 3 rejections so far. Giving up now.

Ignore status. Did anyone hear back from Umass Physics this year? I didn't get any update from them after submitted my application. And I think there is no one posted anything about Umass this year here on Gradcafe?

IGNORE STATUS. Does anyone know if the physics department at UCLA has already sent all the admits? I mailed them for an update but was told to keep checking the portal.
